Hi there! I’m Flake, i’m a 21 year old currently finishing my BFA in animation and cinema studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I hope to pursue my MA in Film Studies after I graduate this year.
I’m starting this little blog to try and spend more time writing and analyzing film. After being in a creative school for four years now, I find my writing skills have atrophied from what they once were and would like to remedy this.
Thankfully I grew up in a family that thoroughly enjoyed film. Some of my earliest memories are of Lillian Gish and Humphrey Bogart. I’m endlessly thankful I grew up with such an amazing repetoire of film.
Hopefully this little blog will allow me to better vocalize what I love about film.
